macro-monday

Picture
Welcome to October and Q4! The previous 9 months have basically left us where we started the year. Having recently recaptured january's highs ( +/- a bit) we wonder if the market is set up for an early Santa Clause rally or will a pull-back be in order before Santa is dispatched?

No video today, as we put some final touches on ideas we plan to test in Q4, however, make sure to visit the MARKET CONDITIONS section at Chaikinpoweruser.com to review all of the weekly metrics we track in our macro-monday analysis.

As you can see in the Sector Trend Chart pictured above, there has been some movement in fundamental leadership in the past week.  The XLU has now begun to show some weakness in the face of rising interest rates, while healthcare (XLV) continues to show strength.    Join us Wednesday  as we begin testing our (mostly) new ideas for Q4.
