Macro-monday

Last week we noted a divergence in the Chaikin OB/OS oscillator.  We've learned that these divergences are something that deserve attention.  That divergence may now be playing out as a result of political jibber-jabber.

The Bull v Bear ratio remains above two, although off the highs.  One of the pieces of data we track is the trend of the SPY Bull v Bear ratio.  As you see in the image below, history shows that we have struggled to get a ratio much higher than three. Last week we touched the ratio highs once again before retreating.

We also noted the current positive correlation of Utilities and Financials, one will eventually be the loser.  Watch our video for our complete Macro-Monday analysis. You can view all the data we track on the MARKET CONDITIONS page.
