Market assumptions are neutral to bearish and so are the trades we found today. With volatility appearing to be coming in slightly (early in the Monday trading day), we were eager to find some vega positive trades that would profit from sideways to downward direction in the face of increasing marketing volatility. In today's Relative Strength Wednesday video, we take a top-down approach studying market, sectors and stocks to find the best trade possible. Today's video includes two trade examples.
While the Chaikin indicators suggest a bearish bias to a neutral market, Money Flow keeps us from being overly bearish. We expect a neutral market, with ebbs and flows in volatility. It's not our opinion, it's in the information we derive from Chaikin. We also have a trade set up for $PEP we discuss in today's video.

Watch the video. The market is still bullish and we show a couple of different ways we traded TXT on Monday. But the market is showing some signs of narrowing breadth (ie: a few sectors and industries leading us higher) and the Power Gauge ratio on the SPY is pretty neutral. The market may be giving some very preliminary warning signs heading into the rocky early Fall time-frame.
